It pays to be a Member

FA Trophy First Round  - Gateshead v Southport

Corporate Hospitality – Saturday 11 December 2010

The Supporters club recently negotiated a deal with the Club Board to allow members of the Supporters Club to be guests of the Club in the Corporate Hospitality area, both before & after the Southport match on 11th December.  The commercial cost of this package is normally £450 before VAT and the Supporters Club wish to express their sincere thanks to the Club for this extremely kind gesture.  Additionally, the match Mascot for the day will be a young member of the Supporters club who will be accompanied by an adult/ guardian.

Every paid-up Supporters Club member was entered into the Draw for these places which was made by Club Vice-Chairman,  Brian Waites.  At the same time a Reserve list was also drawn for use in the event of the original members selected not being able to attend.

The first Mascot drawn out of the hat was Lynn Davidson of South Shields.  Lynn told us that whilst she was chuffed to be drawn out, and offered the chance to be Mascot for the match,  she declined because she often helps out with her dad Gary and gives the girls a hand in the Corporate Hospitality area,  she asked that the offer to be Mascot should be given to another junior member of the GSC.

Well done Lynn   -  and thanks very much for your unselfish act!!

 So the lucky young member chosen as Mascot for the day is Carly Edminson.   The full list of members of those invited to attend is as follows;

Mascot:          Miss Carley Edminson,  accompanied by Mr Drew Edminson

Members:      Lee McCormack,  Phil Studholme,  Ken Richardson,  Alan Burn ,

    Gerald Nolan,  Alistair Gray,   Patrick Alan Teuma,   Alan Johnson,

   Joanna Long

The Corporate Hospitality that members will receive is as follows;

Welcome Drinks on arrival
Hot Food to be served at 1.40 pm
Complimentary Bar
Photograph in home team dugout at 2.15pm
Return to sponsors suite
Take seats in Directors Box  2.50pm
Half time return to sponsors suite
Return to Directors box second half Approx  4.00pm
Full time return back to sponsors suite
Approx 5.20pm post match presentations to Gateshead Man of the Match

In the event of the match being cancelled owing to weather conditions etc., the invitation will be transferred to the date of the rearranged fixture.

On behalf of the Supporters Club I hope that our lucky members have an enjoyable afternoon
